One of my favourite things about Paris is the museums. Endless design inspiration oozes from these phenomenal institutions. During my first year in Paris, I visited at least 2 or 3 museums monthly as I discovered the city’s arts and culture. Museums are a great place to think, imagine, and cultivate creativity.
You’ll probably notice the Louvre didn’t make my Top 10, but I do recommend a least one visit in your lifetime. When you visit, hire a guide online to any avoid the lines, confusion, and the (sometimes annoying) crowd. Let’s get to the list and, if I missed your favorite museum, please tell me in comments below.
My Top 10 Parisian Museums:
Musée Rodin
Musée Bourdelle
Atelier Brancusi
Bourse de Commerce, Pinault Collection
Musée Picasso
La Galerie Dior
Musée Yves Saint Laurent
Fondation Louis Vuitton
Fondation Le Corbusier at Villa La Roche
Musée Hotel de la Marine

Love love this list - Rodin is my # 1 as well and many I haven’t been to. I would add D’Orsay (for the impressionists and the train station structure) and L’Orangerie. Xo
