💪 A stronger Responsible Tech ecosystem = a better ability to tackle wicked tech & society issues (read about our mission here; watch an explainer video here). All Tech Is Human is focused on three major concerns in order to improve our tech future: speeding up our ability to consider the impacts of technology, having a more cohesive Responsible Tech ecosystem that promotes knowledge-sharing and collaboration, and diversifying the traditional tech pipeline with more backgrounds, disciplines, and lived experiences.
In other words, we need to:
Move at the speed of tech 🗲
Broaden the types of individuals working on complex tech & society issues 👐
Leverage the power of collective intelligence 🧠

“Kia ora folks -- I’m Vivek one of the founding members of a small kiwi startup called Multitudes. One of our angel investors, Ellen Pao will be speaking to our community about how to foster belonging and inclusion in the coming weeks. Ellen Pao is the former CEO of Reddit, where she broached major discussions around profiting off white supremacy, hate speech, and sexism. She is also a leader in women & diversity in tech since the landmark “Pao v. Kleiner Perkins” court case which brought gender discrimination and workplace sexism to mainstream attention, especially in the tech industry. RSVP here. Note that the community is closed and we ask you to share an example about how you’ve taken action to support DEI initiatives. Feel free to flick through any questions over to me at vivek@multitudes.co.” -Vivek Katial
