They estimate that a third of original Hamas fighters may have been killed, and say that they have indirect access to US intel. By a common estimate of 30k fighters, this may be (my own conclusion) around 10k.

On the other hand, I also found a BBC article which investigated very hard on this question, including watching hundreds of videos from IDF that claim to show killing of Hamas fighters, as well as trying to find out how Israel decides who they count as killed Hamas fighter or civilian. The article doesn't give numbers in the end, but comes to the same pessimistic conclusion as I did.
