I pray that anyone reading this has felt the love that only God can give. I know I treasure the fact that I have. God’s love is available to anyone who is his child and accepts Jesus as their personal Savior. And my prayer is that if you don’t know Jesus as your Savior, that you will pray the prayer of salvation. Accepting Jesus’s death on the cross ,as God’s only son, and that he was buried and resurrected on the third day according to the Scriptures as payment for your sins and to receive eternal life with God in place of God’s wrath and judgement that we all deserve.
There are some truly beautiful verses about God’s love in Scripture. I’ll share some of my favorites here. I pray these touch anyone’s heart that reads this. God’s Word is his living and active love for us coming down from Heaven into our hearts.
1 Corinthians 13:13 Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Jude 1:21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Isaiah 43:4 Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you.
Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
