The media is gonna keep lying? I’m gonna keep calling them out
Don’t like being exposed? Tough toilets, media.
ABC just claimed 1,500 Americans are still dying of COVID each week. That’s a lie. It’s under 600. Worldometer has the receipts on this. ABC tried to save face for itself by then saying this was for the week ending December 9—over a month ago. But it was actually about 700 then.
The media will try bullshitting us, and I’ll be on their case about it. I’ve done this for 30 years. Don’t like it? As Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly would say, “Too bad.”
Meanwhile—there are enough meanwhiles in this series for an Electra Woman And Dyna Girl episode—proof continues to grow that society was completely restructured during COVID, even regarding circumstances that have nothing to do with COVID or any other virus. It was like a revolution. But unlike other revolutions, which usually replace the old guard with forward-thinking ideas, this revolution introduced ideas that set us back enormously. Replacing school with remote “learning” is one of the biggest examples, as this failed system is being used more and more.
As the migrant housing crisis continues, it is only right that migrants are treated with humanity. We are supposed to be a civilized society, and humanity is a value of civilization. Now a Brooklyn high school has shifted to remote classes because the auditorium is being used to house migrant families. This itself is cruel to the migrants who are being sent to a substandard makeshift shelter. And families of the students of this school are absolutely furious at having to go back to online classes. So nobody wins except our corrupt “leaders.”
A Maryland hospital chain is boasting that mask mandates will now be the “new normal” every year in perpetuity after each holiday season. The “two weeks” guarantee has been memory holed in this societal restructuring.
The once-great National Park Service—which has been handed over to complete incompetents lately—has announced that it is bringing back timed reservation requirements for some of its beautiful parks. This is another legacy of the reverse revolution.
At least these incidents are useful for helping us separate the wheat from the chaff. When officials enact policies like the above, it’s a good indicator of where their loyalties rest. Instead of standing with the people, they stand with forces that have restructured society for the worse.
