Hello, my good friends and how have you been? If you're a new subscriber here, welcome to the productivity gang!😎
I hope you find value here, and that you stay happy nonetheless.
You haven't missed anything. The previous posts—from January till this moment—are all on the website, and yes, you'll receive subsequent newsletters directly in your mail.
It feels good to be writing to you again after an unexpected and unannounced break. I hope my apology is accepted. How have you been, and how eventful has the past month been for you? If you would want to talk about it, I would be enthusiastic to hear from you!
Routines provide a technique to foster positivity and wellness through structure and order since a person's lifestyle can be a determinant of the habits they possess. Having a routine can greatly improve your health and outlook, unlike arbitrarily acting without any sort of regularity or consistency.
How can you work on establishing routines?
Surround yourself with positivity.
Even on days you do not have any important engagement to do outside your home, all things being equal, set up that productivity effect. Do not say you want to complete your essay by 10:00 AM with your pyjamas, and on the same bed you slept in last night. You necessarily do not have to fall asleep, but then, your sensory region will get the effect of sleeping thereby leading to reduced flow. After all, you are in your sleeping dress and in your sleeping position.
The last time I checked, I didn't find any constitution that said you should not bathe and dress up early on weekends or days that require that you stay indoors. Because, why not?
Waking up early, dressing up and getting off bed brings about a sense of urgency that would naturally spur one into action. You do not have to dress corporately as though you are leaving your home, but undergoing that self-care routine would make you feel freshened and decluttered thereby producing efficiency and speed!
Consistently review your actions
This could be a daily, weekly or monthly routine that helps you be alert and attentive. And yes, Journaling helps a lot.
Make the best use of digital and manual tools; words are not enough
This includes setting alarms, and scheduling your routine in your device's calendar. The greatest approach to plan and arrange your day if this doesn't work for you is by manually putting pen to paper. Handwrite your routine plan, and use desk calendars and agendas.
A routine isn't limited to what you do in the mornings, and some factors can lead to a change in routine. Life happens, and change is constant. However, as a popular saying goes, “when you convert a task into a habit, it stops becoming a habit as you just do it irrespective of the motivation present or absent.”
Finally, establishing and staying consistent with a routine is a determinant of grace and self-discipline.
As Brain Tracy said in his book "No excuses!: the power of self-discipline", Discipline has been defined as self-denial. This requires that you deny yourself the easy pleasures, the temptations that lead so many people astray, and instead discipline yourself to do only those things that you know are right for the long term and appropriate for the moment.

This is my first time here, but with this, I think I've missed so much!.
It's nicely composed and amazing💯
This is a good read. I can particularly relate to the putting down your routine with pen and paper. My day is always better when I have a plan set. Thank you for this Roqeebat!
