June Content List
Your monthly curated list of entertainment to discover something new and talk about your favorites.
Summer is here and with new seasons, we have new experiences. A new chapter can bring struggles, pain, love, growth, and discovery.
This month our list will include stories reflecting change of season- from personal growth, friendships, life transitions, and aging.
I write a little more on this topic here.
To grow you got to evolve instead of revolve

Arthur’s New Baby, Arthur podcast
Did you know the beloved PBS after-school series from our childhood is now a podcast? On this episode Arthur is not excited about a new baby joining the family (D.W is more than enough). Currently Watching
A Man Called Otto, Netflix
If you’re a Tom Hanks fan, this 2022 film was on your radar. I just happen to watch this film after hearing a few reviews. The film is more than a grumpy main character, it’s a story about life with all its highs and heartbreaking lows- and the people you connect with along the way.
Platonic, Apple TV
Currently watching ‘Platonic” on Apple TV (episodes are released weekly). The comedy series focuses on the platonic relationship of long-time friends Sylvia (Rose Byrne) and Will (Seth Rogen). I’m curious to see when-and how-the plot thickens for this friendship and the characters involved.
Currently Reading (Listening To)
I Remember Nothing and Other Reflections, Nora Ephron
Thankfully with the Libby App, I’m listening to Nora (screenwriter for Sleepless in Seattle) read her National Bestseller memoir. Once you’re past her initial humor about aging, she shares valuable wisdom from her experiences. Also, her book is filled with random tidbits: cooking on Teflon prior to 2015 and why friends who eat egg-whites deeply disturb her.
And some short form content

In this Youtube vlog series(below) Rasheeda documents her nursing school journey while in her 40s. She says, “Don’t let your age stop you from pursuing your dreams.”

The viral clip from Andre’s 2019 Tony speech: “Surround yourself with people whose eyes light up when they see you coming. Slowly is the fastest way to get to where you want to be. The top of one mountain is the bottom of the next, so keep climbing.”
I had no clue there was an Arthur podcast! I am a die-hard Arthur fan and can’t wait to check it out.
