SHORT Video: Read and Draw in April

I realized I hadn’t shown Read and Draw lately, so here is a quick video showing what it looks like in April. I only do this once or twice a month now, usually on Mondays alternating with reading decodable books. Because the students get to draw, they are motivated to read and to read correctly. A quick glance at their papers lets me know if they are decoding and comprehending or if they need a little help from me.
