Video: A Video for the Parents

I’m sharing a short (two-minute) video I made for the parents of my students. It’s from a couple of weeks ago, but could work for any point in the school year. In the video I am explaining about the reading papers they see coming home in their child’s Tuesday folder. I want them to understand where the papers are coming from, that they’re valuable, and that they should look for them and make use of them at home. This is one way I can help parents become more aware of their child’s nascent reading skills and help celebrate their child’s accomplishments.
