In lieu of a week of centers and small group instruction, I am providing video footage of just a day at a time. Today—Monday, March 13—students came to my table and read decodable books. I provided more difficult books for many of the students as they need opportunities to apply the advanced phonics I’ve introduced over the past two months. It was good for them and they did quite well. Check out the video to see how I manage to listen to each student for at least a couple minutes (while keeping half an ear on everyone else’s reading) as well as what the rest of the class was doing.
