Join my rest club! Let’s trust in the wisdom of our bodies.
Let’s give ourselves softer, more frequent transitions between creating and resting.
I’m trusting that I will come back to the process, that my creative juices won’t ooze out of my brain, but instead are percolating thanks to space and time off.
The best part? I had more time to play!
And now…I’m curious to see when I feel like returning to work on the 2nd book.

Why is it so hard to stop?? I love a walk, looking up! Lately I've spent hour after hour seated, reading, and it's driving me to explosive goofy dance breaks. Must be what my body needs!
Playing the ukulele helps me rest, even though it requires focus, but a different kind of focus than writing. True fact: the ukulele is the happiest instrument in the world.
