On MAUI, Fires, and DEW
I am not a Coincidence Hypothesist, but I prefer evidence to conjecture, and if you haven't see what fire does, perhaps you should look.
(Control Group Science was intended strictly for Pflandemic issues, and if I had found Substack before building that website, I may have written more here. Overwhelm with Pflandemic tangents, as more knowledgeable scientists and mathematicians came to the rescue, CGS became more of a snarky twitter relay. However, issues arise, and today, as I cancel my Maui vacation, is such a day.
What evidence is there for DEW?
Admittedly, I am not a military tech researcher, so I can’t categorically call bullshit, but I have seen fire up close and personal, and what I see in Maui looks like fire.
I realize that that I filter all information and ideas through my very personal lens of experience in determining "truth". Moreover my certainty in the world as I describe it by my experience, which often disavows events that I cannot prove, forces me to be somewhat close minded, and perhaps deemed insufferable in that regard.
While the concept that HARP could have been used to generate this tornado, and steer it further than any tornado has ever traveled, is, in my view, actually plausible. Whether DEW’s have this level of power, I don’t know, but I expect that if they did, we’d have roasted half of Afghanistan instead of leaving all our hardware there! And knowing what I do know about humans, the idea HARP could be used in connection with DEW in a coordinated attack, is just too far fetched for me. Does the WEF all of the sudden control two highly sophisticated branches of the military? Not buyin it…
What Does Fire Look Like?
Maybe I am ignorant, but I dug in my heels about the DEW around the Paradise fires because I couldn't find a single person commenting who had any depth of scientific knowledge, and certainly none with my experience of Fire. I live in Oakland and commute through forest fire country every week. I have had up close and personal experiences myself. Not only did barely escape my house burning down in 1982 (which left behind my intact wallet, although nylon), my experience of the Oakland firestorm of 1991 makes be very doubtful of anyone's conceptions regarding intact trees or plastic as evidence of DEWs.
I was heavy in my biking at that time and climbed to the top of the Oakland and Berkeley Hills almost every day for years. After the fire the entire region was cordoned off, but that was easily ignored by someone such as myself and I biked the entire area at least 5 times before deciding that the smell of it was more detrimental to my lungs than the amazement of it to my eyes.
Years later I attended a gallery showing of Richard Misrach’s “1991”, which brilliantly captured the post-fire hellscape. I purchased the coffee table book to keep as a cherished item, and it is, in fact, still on my living room table. Misrach’s photos display how impossibly fire destroys, and quizzically does not. Intact plastics half melted next to destroyed houses, trees that appear healthy next to charred waste, forests on the side of death zones and actually fully standing wooden structures with no house left to be attached to are not uncommon.
What I saw in biking past this region was an incomprehensible hop skip and jump of destruction, whole houses intact next to burned away nothingness. In fact when the massive Valley Fire destroyed Little Lake, my friend's parents' house was completely spared, despite sitting at the crest of a hill on which every other house had been decimated. Maybe the wind made a fire tornado around it, but it was fine. In none of these instances however, were Jewish Space Lazers implicated!
Just to check myself on this, I looked at ten year weather history of Maui and found less rainfall, higher temps, and a particularly dry July 2023. Wind records for the day show consistent 35 mph, with 45 mph gusts, at the airport, 8 miles overland on the LEEWARD side of the island!
Yes, the ultrawealthy want a smart city, but they don’t want to build it from toxic rubble. Given the history of wildfires in Lahaina 2018, the old plantation overgrowth, the known utility problems, and the Perfect Storm of weather conditions, I'm going to be hard-pressed to add this fire to my list of plots to be paranoid about.
My heartfelt sorrow and sympathy to Maui’s lovely people. Mahalo
Peace

You suppose that “if I had found Substack before building that website, I may have written more here.” Well, you needn’t worry that your work on your website will suffer from obscurity. Substack encourages its users to upload their material from other platforms and sites. I guess the sale of your merch would have to take place on your regular site, but your writing can be transferred here if you wish.
I have to admit, when I saw your comment and avatar on John Leake’s post, I just had to investigate and stop by. I’m a sucker for classic sci-fi flicks.
