‘We must do everything we can to save lives,” except make the demands that would actually save lives — like demand that the terrorists who started all of this release the hostages they took and stop launching rockets from neighborhoods and school rooftops.
I’m done with this war on reason.
Unless a leader demands that Hamas release the hostages they took in their unprovoked attacked, that leader doesn’t care for lives.
The Hamas apologists chanting a slogan of genocide don’t care about lives, either:
“From the river to the sea” means from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean. What’s the land mass between the river and the sea? Israel.
Why no condemnation of Hamas and their theft of UN aid they later used to support their terror campaign?
Why no condemnation of Hamas blocking the roadways to prevent Gazans from leaving?
Why no condemnation of the “Palestinian” Authority’s murder payments to Hamas families? Why no condemnation of the EU’s refusal to stop funding this terror (not to overlook Democrats’s reversal of Republican efforts to block funding to Hamas)? No condemnation of Hamas calling for a jihad day?
There wasn’t a war before Hamas launched rockets and rifle-wielding, hang gliding terrorists into Israel. There wasn’t a war before Hamas busted into kibbutz after kibbutz executing families and live-streaming it all. Ruling parties (Hamas in Gaza and Fatah in West Bank) of the disputed territories have rejected a two-state solution every single time the proposal was offered. Every cease-fire called is always first broken by Hamas.
Hamas apologists don’t get to rewrite the chronology of this war and exclude the actions of the terrorists that started it all so as to portray Israel’s response as the aggressive, unprovoked act. Apologists don’t have the standing for their performative concern theater as they lament loss of life while Hamas shelters in hospitals and stores weapons in schools.
Terror apologists ruin their credibility by ignoring Hamas’s atrocities while demanding that Israel cease defending its citizens. Israel would have nothing to defend against if Hamas stopped their terror campaign.
So one member of the squad is pushing Congress to demand a cease and desist. Um, does she intend to with US law to a lawless people that call themselves Hams?
