Do you ever wonder how you got here? I don’t mean where you are at this minute, starting to read this article in front of a computer or your phone, but here on earth. Why you were born here versus say Africa or Russia. It’s not as if any of us, I mean any human being of the approximate 117 billion that have lived on this planet, has ever had control of where we were born, nor to whom we were born to, nor the circumstances into which we were born. A woman, our mother, gave birth to us, who we didn’t know prior to coming into the world. Nor did we have anything to do with the two people—woman and man—who came together to conceive us. And we were given a name that we had no part in deciding. But somewhere along the line as we grew up and became aware of our existence, we began to believe we were in charge … of our lives.
