Today I woke up in those days
It's no use wanting to fight against it because inevitably those days will haunt you throughout the years

I never imagined that these days would come for me. On the contrary, I confess that I would be immune to all of this and yes, I even made the chorus of the ignorant, that it was crazy for this to happen one day.
I'm not more than anyone else, on the contrary, anyone who knows me knows very well. In addition, I pay a price that I sometimes feel goes too far and beyond common sense. But as they say, "no one carries a bigger cross that they cannot carry". When those days arrive I feel all the symptoms quietly and try to be as resilient as possible.

What do you do when you wake up these days?
I would like to have the answers to all of life's inconveniences, or that turn a Saturday that had everything to be wonderful into those days to forget. The fact is that there are things that there are no ready answers and what I feel, only I know. I don't have the right to belittle what you're going through.
“What I do know is that these battles are tiring.”
It's not just the physical pain being on those days causes your body, it's the damage it can cause you psychologically. As well as, difficult able to share clearly and objectively. It's not like sitting at a bar table and talking pleasantries, because they are intimacies that maybe you don't understand.
I understand that you must be confused reading this, but don't forget that it's coming out of the head of someone who "is dealing with demons you couldn't even imagine". The phrase from Instagram reels, fit perfectly today when I woke up those days. Despite this, maybe some things can be done to ease it.

Have a bedtime routine
They say a solid bedtime routine that you stick to every night can help you cope when you wake up that way. Plus, it will help ensure you get enough rest and wake up feeling refreshed.
Ah, come here and stay for a week on this side and I doubt you'll be able to royally follow this proposed routine. However, it's that story of what works for you that might not work for me. And vice versa.
I'm currently putting my hands to the sky when the night with eyes closed and "brain stopped" lasts four hours. And yes, that's why I put it in quotes, because if the brain stops it will be worse than being in those days.
Keep your bedroom dark and comfortable
If that alone solved the problem of waking up the way I did this morning, I swear, I'd turn my room into an underground bunker. One of those is that you only enter with an oxygen cylinder because it would be very isolated.
“I ask: the monsters that are under the bed and on top of the closet, how do I do with everything dark?”
Missing the monsters between our ears, in the question above, which sometimes cause more damage to the individual than any other. Sorry if you only have one ear, but you get the reference.
In other words, make sure your bedroom is dark and comfortable. Invest in blackout curtains or an eye mask to block out any light. But don't think that we are writing about miracles and much fewer facilities here. It will come, with the right to physical effects such as cramps, for example.
On those days, set multiple alarms
Honestly, I don't know if setting multiple alarms at different intervals will increase the chance that I'll wake up. I just said that I hardly sleep, what I least want is to wake up.
I'm even currently practicing the Russian nap, I lie down and count on luck, like playing Russian roulette. I'll go to bed, if I manage to sleep, only God knows when I'll wake up: it could be in 30 minutes, 3 hours, 15 hours, or… never mind.
Exercise before bed
I would, but I can't argue with that tip. Including because there are children who access this text. And enough of lawsuits for moral damages (and I won). I don't want to know about other processes anymore, thank you.
Therefore, you who are reading this, use your imagination of what to do to tire your body and be able to sleep more relaxed. But from personal experience, on those days the only desire is not to get out of bed all day.
Avoid caffeine and alcohol before bed
I have already vehemently protested here in this text about this nonsense of avoiding coffee. I even asked them to bring me the person who dared to propose such an agreement. Did they bring me? Of course not, I still hope.
“While I wait, I'm going to have a very strong coffee, today I need it.”
As for alcohol, there is nothing to talk about, because you, as an adult, know the harm in relation to the benefits. The first option is much bigger than the second.
Seriously though: both can disrupt your sleep cycle and make it difficult to wake up. It doesn't hurt to avoid it and it's not because I'm talking about it, but just Google it and you'll have answers from experts. For now, I'm an expert on my life (or not).
Hold on heart, the end is near
I have no idea what you were thinking, but what I can assure you is that I didn't get my period. Fuck, then it would be just nailing the coffin and throwing the lime shovel.
In addition, the tips above are interesting so that you wake up more willing and start the day in the best possible way. Now, that's if you're not part of the 280 million people in the world, according to 2019 data from Healthline.com, who suffer from one of the worst diseases of the century. And it's not ignorance.
If you think depression is something that only happens to idle adults who don't have dishes waiting in the sink to wash, remember: there are more than 280 million in the world. And the saddest thing: in the US alone, it is estimated that there are 4.1 million teenagers between the ages of 12 and 17 who have had or are suffering from a major depressive episode. We're talking about 17% of a nation's population.
I'm not making it up, these are numbers released by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIH) website. Click here and see for yourself. Furthermore, this data was updated in January 2022.
Why all this? Among other things because today I woke up in those days: totally discouraged, dejected, sad, and with the feeling that it is difficult to reach the touchdown. And another, because it's one of the reasons I wrote here. Anyway, I needed to calm my heart and relax my brain. The comment section door is open, write.

I totally understand what you are trying to say Fernando. We all have bad days and your strategies are really helpful. Also, here is some friendly writer-to-writer advice: I would encourage you to avoid translating idiomatic expressions into English because they do not translate. For example, we would never say “throw the lime shovel” or “reach the touchdown”. Also, a man writing “I didn’t get my period” seems odd. If you want to use idiomatic expression, maybe check them online or ask an English speaking friend to advise you. Keep up the good work.
