I have been fascinated by the world of photography for the past few years. I marvel at the fact that these moments I choose to capture can be viewed and possibly cherished by generations to follow. One valu
able resource we have is time and it is ever fleeting. I am not an infant, child, teen, or young adult anymore. I am a 32 year old married father of 2. And time advances daily. I believe that is why I choose to write as well. Between capturing a visual representation of what I saw and writing what I heard and how I felt that day, these things I hold valuable. Time is valuable. You can’t get it back. And we all will perish one day. Leaving only memories. But those memories can be strengthened, shared, and admired by taking pictures and writing. Those that follow after us can look into our present and gather information about relatives or loved ones.
Now, I have the desire to help others capture moments that can be safeguarded in the never ending advancement of time. More specifically, I wish to help those graduating high school or college. Those achievements are years in the making with only a few seconds to celebrate as their name is read and they walk across the stage. Sure you can snap a picture on your phone or take a video of the event as it happens, but will you print those pictures or simply share them on social media? What I hope to capture is something you are proud to print and hang up in your house and share with your family members.
So let’s create something you are proud of.
I hope to post once a month on my journey as a new working photographer.
Enjoy and subscribe.
