Reflections - 18th February
Yesterday, was the birth anniversary of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, a revered 15th-century saint and Krishna Bhakta.Another notable celebration was the birth anniversary of Ram Krishna Paramhansa, born on this day in West Bengal in 1836.
Two saints from same region, different eras, but they both conveyed the same message of Bhakti.
On February 18, 1911, India witnessed its first airmail flight.
Henry Pequet, a 23-year-old French pilot, took off from Allahabad to Naini, delivering over 6,000 letters over a distance of ten kilometers.
