Are our elderly being cursed by their own people?
This blog is my theory. It’s what I think and ponder about. It may not be totally correct but I believe it’s valuable to hear different people’s perspective on things going on in the world. See what you think.
NATURAL IMMUNITY
20 years ago, grandmothers used to be the toughest, most resilient people on the universe. When kids were sick, you can almost guarantee that grandma would be packing her bags and moving in to help with a sick children until they were better. They had extremely close contact, rocking the children, bathing them, giving them natural remedies, loving on them until they were back to health.
I don’t know how or when this turned, but now, if children are sick, everyone wants the grandparents to stay away, acting as if they are fragile, and may die if they get sick. I also believe that nurturing is good for your health. I believe, nurturing comes naturally with grandparents. They need to nurture for their health and well-being. Nurturing their children and grandchildren nurtures themselves.
Your immune system is an amazing thing. You get exposures to sicknesses, and your body develops immunity. The more you’re exposed the more immunity you have. I believe this is why a lot of doctors and nurses and caregivers get sick less often than people in other industries. I have been a nurse for almost 40 years. I can count the times on one hand that I have called in sick.
Not only have we been putting our grandparents in bubbles for the last 20 or so years, but many times are filling them with unneeded pharmaceuticals. We are running them to the doctor with every little thing. A doctor visit used to mean that the doctor would sit down and talk to you and try to find the root of the problem and try to help you solve it. Now, it seems that doctors just find a pharmaceutical remedy for what is going on.
I’m not saying this is wrong per se, however, I believe that most medical schools & medical organizations are directly or indirectly funded by the CDC & pharmaceutical companies. This theory would make money a motivating factor.
THE SPOKEN WORD FACTOR
As a God-fearing woman, I believe the spoken word is powerful. Proverbs 18 verse 21 says “death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it she’ll eat the fruit thereof.” in Genisis, when the creation of the world happened, God spoke it, he didn’t just make it happen. He spoke the word, and it happened. There are many other instances of spoken word becoming truth in the Bible. I believe you can unknowingly curse yourself, or curse other people with a spoken word. For example, telling yourself I’m starting to feel sick. I hope I don’t get sick. If you keep saying those things, you are speaking it & you are proclaiming it. An example of cursing someone else is saying “if you go around those kids you’re going to get sick.” Or “if you keep doing that you’re going to break a leg.” Those are all words and those words can be powerful. If you keep telling yourself, you’re going to have a mental breakdown if things don’t get better, than you probably will have a mental breakdown. You are proclaiming it. Words are powerful!
The answer, of course is Jesus in you. Jesus lives in you if you are saved. Jesus is not sick. Jesus is not dying. Jesus is not anxious or fearful.
This is my first blog, hopefully someone can get something out of it.
