The Importance of Quality Water; and a few other things...
For the past few weeks, I’ve made extra effort in getting quality water. For most of this year I’ve been using one of those cheap carbon filters, but I don’t think they do a whole lot. Fortunately in Pito-one / Petone, just north of Wellington, there is an artesian water supply - Te Pune Wai Ora. When I lived there years ago, I would always drink it, though moving back to Wellington City made that a lot more difficult.
Nearing the end of my working week I ran out of this water, and had to drink the tap water at work - and it was disgusting in comparison. I’m not the most sensitive person in the world, but it was clearly noticeable. It got me thinking of the importance of water, and all of the things done to it to render it legally drinkable in the city… much of which I’m probably unaware of.
For those of us in Wellington Central (and any out-of-towners that desire to come here in the future), there is another artesian well at supermarket Moore Wilson’s - a well going down to a depth of 151 metres. Supposedly it comes from the Wairarapa, a county a couple of hours drive north of Wellington, and is odourless and tasteless.
Here’s a couple of links that can help us find more places to get quality water!

There’s a lot that has been written on water. I remember hearing about research that discussed a fourth state of water (beyond gas, liquid and solid). It appears that the fourth state exists between solid and liquid. I won’t claim to understand it, but Dr. Gerard Pollack has done a lot of work and presentation on the subject. It appears it has potential application for energy and batteries.
(And now I’m reminded of Bruce Cathie’s work…)
A classic work on water is Dr. Batmanghelidj’s (“just call me Dr. Batman” he says) book Your Body’s Many Cries for Water… unsurprisingly it’s largely ignored by the medical profession and most journalists in the health sciences. Though people in the world of natural health have had much success. You might be able to find a free pdf on google, I’m sure Dr. Batman wouldn’t mind.

Corporate medicine will ALWAYS downplay the importance of nature, that’s part of the business model of corporate medicine.

If only we were as zealous in packaging, pollution, economic warfare and the other horrible things corporations bring to the world, as we were with masks, we’d have some steps toward a cleaner world, and corporate accountability.

Back in October 2017, New Zealand hosted the Defence Industry Association Forum. Deputy chairman Andrew Ford has said labelling the forum a "weapons expo" is "stretching the truth". The forum is funded largely by war profiteers Lockheed Martin (who are also - of course - involved with media). “The forum brought together government and defence force buyers with arms, cybersecurity and military procurement manufacturers. He believed most people would support defence forces being properly equipped to defend themselves and fulfil their peacekeeping duties.”
This was about two weeks before Jacinda Ardern was sworn in as Prime Minister.
I’m reminded of Dr. John Ray’s statement that “never has an arms build-up resulted in peace.”

Remember that movie Elysium? The one with police robots? Those are slowly becoming a thing now, I think they’re at the stage of justification where it’s mainly for anti-crazy-people. During the pandemic, we saw how willing our leaders were to dominate us. So this is probably something worth talking about. Live Science reported that a drone killed some people without any person being contacted to authorise it.

The willingness of government and “experts” to lie to us about technology is apparent in their unwillingness to debate about it.
Also… sometimes they tell us that they lie… when I wrote the book on Fluoride, I found a 1959 document regarding the propagandizing of the town of Masterton, New Zealand.
The authors wrote about “the education of the general public” and “community support” for fluoridation.
One of the points they made was:
“Although we all consider it most unlikely that fluoride tablets could give the same benefits as fluoridated water, it is essential for the persuasion of the layman that we try to obtain some figures to demonstrate this.” (Pictured below)
Reference: Fluoridation Referendum – Masterton – November 1959, p. 6. HD 125/299/10 H1 Box 1734. By S. Hickling, Deputy Medical Officer of Health. Arrange a viewing at https://www.archives.govt.nz/, you’ll need to physically go to the Archives on Mulgrave Street, Wellington to view it. These are not online, to my knowledge.
Here’s that page in its entirety:
The first page also gives us a wee glimpse into the strange thinking of the bureaucrat of the time; discussing the people who opposed drinking raw milk, it claims:
“Long before any education or propaganda on behalf of fluoridation in the town was dreamt of, this opposition group had been working steadily and insidiously against it.”
So if you don’t like being propagandized, well that’s just a little insidious of you.

I love technology, it has given us many good things. But I also love nature, and I think we ought to pressure our politicians to help us protect it.
Thank you all for reading, best wishes.
