Dear Readers,
Long time, no see? Hope y’all are doing well.
First things first, I owe you all a big, heartfelt apology for ghosting you over the past few months. Life, you know? It can really throw some curveballs your way. Between juggling college and other projects, it felt like I was on a rollercoaster, and sadly, the blog took a bit of a backseat.
But here's the real scoop: I've been pouring my heart and soul into something special for the past year or so, and well, let's just say it's been a journey with its fair share of ups and downs.
So, I'm back, and I'm bringing all the charm and authenticity I can muster. Let's catch up, share some stories, and dive right back into this blogging adventure together. Life's too short to stay away for too long, am I right?
Oh, and you remember when I spilled the beans in the last newsletter about my post-exam movie marathon plans? Well, the time has come to spill some more beans (movie-themed, of course)! xP
Two recommendations from my long-awaited list have taken the spotlight, and I couldn't wait to dish out the deets to all of you wonderful folks.
So, without further ado, let's dive right into the first one! 🎬✨
Sita Ramam
I must confess, I'm head over heels in love with this one! All hearts to #TeamSitaRamam! <3

The story is a tapestry of love, loss, and redemption, intricately weaving together the lives of various characters, each driven by their motivations and agendas.
Spoilers Alert! Be prepared to be awestruck and smiling throughout the movie, but it might not grant you the happy ending you anticipate! Keep plenty of tissue paper on hand, for this movie tugged at my heartstrings in the wee hours of the night, and believe me, shedding tears doesn't come easily to me.
One of the story's strengths lies in its seamless incorporation of historical and political elements into the narrative. The backdrop of the Kashmir conflict imparts a sense of urgency and tension, while also illuminating the complexities and challenges of the region.
Kudos to the portrayal of the character Afreen and how it serves as the storyteller! The story and character development receive full points. This is one of those movies where I couldn't find any loopholes.
And oh my gosh! I absolutely adored those endearing love letters Sita (also known as Princess Noor Jahan) sent and how Lieutenant Ram used them to locate her. But brace yourself, cuz that final letter from Lt. Ram will leave you weeping uncontrollably!
Nevertheless, what sets "Sita Ramam" apart from other period dramas is its seamless blending of romance with the prevailing political and social issues of the era.

Therefore in my opinion, "Sita Ramam" is an extraordinary cinematic experience, offering an amalgamation of emotions and taking us on an unforgettable journey through love, history, and the human spirit. It's a film that resonates with the soul and leaves an everlasting impression on the heart.
So, my dear friends, if you seek a movie that moves you to your core and embraces the complexities of life, "Sita Ramam" is a gem that demands your undivided attention. Watch it, experience it, and let your heart be touched by its brilliance.
Here’s the trailer!
And and and, let’s save another review for next weekend.
Before, bidding you adieu, here is something to ponder!
