On August 14, 2001, NASA’s Chief Scientist gave a 113 page presentation on “Future Strategic Issues/Future Warfare [Circa 2025]” at the 4th Annual Testing and Training Symposium. Pretty sure these slides speak for themselves.
**Side note: he also gives an unbelievable solution to any climate change, population growth, food security, energy consumption needs etc. here on C-Span in 2014 (starts at approx. 30 minute mark).**
Last brilliant robot I met - it came walking up to me after I tried to re-program it and it said - am I the best robot you ever met? I looked at the robot and said at the same time as I turned it off - "No".
Then I used its parts for other robots who were better programmed.
This is why AI ain't never gonna take over humans - oh no - it will be those who think AI rules that learn the hard lesson.
Time will tell.
Here - let me share a conversation I had with a bot.
