Well…listening to my heart worked!
In page 2 I was writing about how I was in conflict with 2 options to take, stay here in Canggu and Draper for a little longer, or head over to Ubud. Fuck me, I made the right decision!!! Yesterday evening was the best yet!!!
The best people, the best food, the best dancing!!
We all met at Arte at 7:30pm (Arte can only be described as ticking all of the boxes that you would want at an Italian restaurant. The vibe / atmosphere was incredible, and the food….the pizza, the way the dough of the crust pulls apart as you tear it……and of course super affordable at 160k IDR (around £9) for a pizza and beer.
From Arte we headed to Little Havana for some dancing, before a couple of us finished up at Old Man’s. Definitely a sweaty time with all that dancing but fuck it, was having the time of my life!!!! It was finished off back at Draper chilling with some grab food in Rob’s presidential palace being the Garden room.
It’s such a family vibe with the guys at Draper. Who knows what experiences would have been created, had I of gone to Ubud a few days ago. I did see in a bali traveller whatsapp group that a bunch of people were arranging a get together dinner, and maybe that I would have formed some great new friends from there. However, something was telling me to stay, so I did.
I feel that it’s not just me who thinks about the ‘what if’s, the “should do”, “could do”, the things that often make you over-think, over-analyse situations…potential situations. It’s stupid really isn’t it. It’s just because we want to live the best life possible, we kind of get scared of FOMO (fear of missing out), we want to have the best experience possible, and optimise life, we want perfection. This can create a shit situation, a shit way of thinking and living. Just breath, and embrace what comes, follow your heart.
The pics are amazing!!! ❤️❤️
