If you were born after 1990 (which I wasn’t) Youtube has always been in your life. A constant. But for me (born in the ’80s), I’ve always found Youtube super weird. As an 80’s baby, I found this book particularly fascinating. I’ve had limited experience with Youtube, apart from the occasional ‘how-to video. I found this book both an inspiring business start-up tale and a deeply disturbing insight into modern-day media. Either way, it’s a truly captivating read.
Blood Tests
I turned 40 a few weeks ago. No need to sing happy birthday 😉. I was feeling sub-optimal to say the least. I didn’t blame it on age. I blamed it on prioritising work, family, Netflix, UberEats, and generally just getting lazy. So I asked the healthiest person I knew what his systems for health were. He recommended a doctor who analysed his health based on a detailed blood test.
This method spoke to me. As opposed to an opinion-based, hypothesising, and the old trial-and-error approach, her approach was founded on data. So I went and saw her and had a blood test.
She then prescribed a custom plan towards better health based on my specific blood results.
While there wasn’t anything abnormal or earth-shattering in my blood test results, there were lots of areas I needed to improve. At the risk of sounding like a preachy wanker; I’ve implemented her suggestions and I can’t tell you how much better I feel.
I hate it when fit and healthy people preach to me. So take my advice as an unhealthy and unfit person. Chat to a doctor and base your health based on facts.

This is amazing. Check it out.
That’s it for this week folks. Have a great weekend.
I’m thinking of everyone dealing with the floods right now. ❤️
