I’ve got three new items of news which I’m really excited to share with you:
No, it’s not the fact that I have crocus and snowdrops appearing, bucketfuls of joy and hope, although aren’t they uplifting against the blue skies? I’d love to know whether you plant snowdrops as bulbs or ‘in the green’ - or perhaps you’re one of those galanthophiles who has been visiting special snowdrop fairs to seek out gems which go at £20 and over per plant?! Let us know…. I feel that’s one for an article in itself from a snowdrop-lover.
Which brings me to my very first piece of news:
The Small Garden series continues, and you’ve been sending in some fabulous items. It will be on a twice-monthly update basis as originally planned (I know we had around half a dozen in November - the excitement was too much for me to hold back!). The participation from all you Gardening Minds has been so good, that I’ve decided to have a once-a-month Zoom Get-together, our very own Gardening Club, which will be held one evening every month, with dates set well in advance.
News item 2:
I am always overawed by your comments and your brilliant participation, that I’m going to do something really rather special to me the more I’ve been thinking about it, and it’s time to announce it. Whether it’s words, or a design development, or a particular piece of your garden that you’re proud of, or something else that has inspired you and you want to share it with your own words, I am going to be giving YOU the opportunity to share it, to be the Star Turn once a month here on The Gardening Mind. If there’s anything at all you’d like to share, something that you’re proud of, something that you’d like to try out on our gentle and kind community, then this is your moment. I am giving you the opportunity to do exactly this from now on. I will choose one per month to be the feature of a monthly post, a new regular series. Perhaps we could start by thinking up a name for this section….
3. And to tie it all up….
Well, there’s something else which I can’t talk about at the moment, but I’ll be able to announce it very soon. I’m going to be sharing with you the development of a very special project…. oh the suspense! I wish I could tell you right now!
All of the above are going to be available to paying subscribers - if you think you’d like to be part of any of these new features, please do update your subscription here:
