Still here and beyond pissed
I haven’t posted here since before the election and it would probably be boring to do a rundown of what has happened since.
Like nearly everyone else, I find it difficult to tear myself away from watching what the new Trump Administration has uncovered via the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). In short, government theft on a wide and long-term scale is responsible for the US national debt. You’ll notice that I didn’t call the debt ours.
But the fact that DOGE was not created by Donald Trump gave me pause; it’s not a new organization.
DOGE’s original name was the United States Digital Service (USDS) and it was created by Barack Obama. Its original purpose was to fix the botched rollout of the Obamacare website. We all remember that, do we not?
Donald Trump simply repurposed and, obviously, renamed the department.

Here’s Wikipedia’s description of USDS mission:
The USDS was launched on August 11, 2014 by President Barack Obama. It provided consultation services to federal agencies on information technology. Its mandate was to improve and simplify digital service, and to improve federal websites. Its mission was to "deliver better government services to the American people through technology and design."
USDS had full access to the federal government date system and, therefore, so does DOGE. That’s how Elon Musk’s teams discovered that USAID was handing out trillions of dollars to the world without proper controls and how they discovered the organization was doing so as a matter of practice and not accidentally.
Are you scared that Elon Musk has access to your personal information? I don’t know why because that ship sailed way back. People forget that Musk was a co-founder of Paypal, and, therefore had his eyes on all our nickels and dimes.
Additionally, our personal information has already been exposed to unknown actors. Remember myriad federal government data breaches that occurred during the Obama administration? OPM, anyone? What about China? There’s probably some tiny little girl in Beijing right now walking around and calling herself Juliette Akinyi Ochieng.
And then there are the discoveries about Social Security.
Billions sent to dead people and to people with made up social security numbers, usually illegal aliens. It figures that the government agencies and their attendant bureaucrats would turn out to be the biggest looters, sackers, and plunderers in recorded history.
What’s next? The Pentagon, probably.
The Deep State knew this was coming, which is why it did everything in its power to stop Donald Trump from being re-elected, up to and including … well, you know.
However, something in this exposure of the grandest of larcenies made me smile ruefully.
If Barack Obama knew that his implementation of the USDS would make it easier for hidden actors to access the US Treasury in order to send trillions of US taxpayer dollars hither and yon - and, judging from the things I discovered when I did my series on his presidency, he definitely knew - then Trump has taken Obama’s weapon and used it for his own purposes: to expose Obama and his bosses.
Okay. I smiled again.

This article caught my eye as I have been investigating elections in my state for the past 4 years. If bureaucrats have the power to steal that much money from Social Security and hide the information from investigators, I believe that DOGE will find similar fraud if it will simply look at what information is missing in the UOCAVA system, which was originally designed to make it easier for military members to vote, regardless of where they are in the world.
Barry expanded the program to include American citizens living abroad. It made sense to run the program out of the Pentagon because it could verify citizenship and location of the individuals who are active duty. It does not make sense for them to vette those individuals who are registering to vote using the UOCAVA system. Barry also encouraged “birthing tourism” that encouraged foreign nationals to spend their last trimester on American soil, so that their newborn could be granted citizenship papers at birth.
This is something Trump could shut down today, if he even knows about it. I want to believe that he still has a vested interest in getting to the bottom of the OBVIOUS fraud that was Joe’s come-from-behind win.
While Trump didn’t have authority to peruse each State’s voter registration system, he can use the authority given to him in the Constitution to challenge each State’s compliance that only American Citizens vote in Federal elections and any State that chooses to allow foreign nationals to vote in local elections, they must be required to keep a separate database, although I don’t believe that should be allowed and will be less of an issue once the non-citizens are deported and UOCAVA is shut down.
