Amy’s Point Of View
From the day I met him, I sensed Victor could be dangerous at will. I also knew he would take matters into his own hands when he deemed it necessary, and I loved that about him. When I sucked his cock in bed last night, my husband described his exploits at the clam summit in detail after I pleaded.
I almost laughed when he described Michael’s expression but dared not clench my teeth because they were close to his crown jewels. It didn’t surprise me that Victor had threatened to kill an entire layer of New York’s criminal society should anything happen to me or our family at their hands.
In the morning, I sat alone in Diana’s kitchen, eying her carefully to judge her mood, wondering what she knew about yesterday’s events. When she slid a coffee across the counter and sat on her side, studying me carefully, I knew a quizzing was underway.
“Katerina left early this morning, Amy. I was down here preparing breakfast, and she grabbed a coffee, then told me she would return tomorrow.”
“Did Mom say where she was going?”
“No, and I didn’t ask, but she left you a note. I am sure it has something to do with my Dad.”
I slipped open the envelope, removed the Olympic Committee A4 folded, headed paper, and read a short, concise note from my adopted mother. After I read the words, I looked up at Diana and smiled.
