DRAWING SESSIONS RECOMMENDATIONS
If there are other Substacks, Patreons, or drawing sessions that you can recommend, please let me know in the comments, and I’ll make a list below!
For now, I can recommend:
- The Introvert Drawing Club (By Beth Spencer) : Drawing sessions 2x a month, and regular guest hosts that bring their own art expertise, which is so great.
- Emma Carlisle Patreon: Highly recommend! All kinds of sessions, challenges. Very creative, very complete and hundreds of video’s to watch.
- TJ Marston Patreon: Focussing on schetchbooks, colour, nature, landscape, materials
- Frances Ives Patreon: So many good info about materials and using them in mixed media
- London Drawing Group : Themed sessions, regularly focussing on art history with a link to feminism
- Draw Brighton Patreon : Life drawing. The portrait course is so good; all of their tips also apply to nature drawing!
- Sophie McPike: A really colourful Patreon and multiple drawing sessions a month, focussed on scribbling and drawing fast - it’s great to get you out of your brain and just drawing!
