Reading Life #4: All Things Summer Reading
A guide to my favorite summer reading recommendations
Hello, readers! I am very excited about this month’s Reading Life issue because it's the Summer Reading Issue! Summer reading season is upon us, my favorite reading season, and I wanted to share my favorite summer reading recommendations in one spot.
In the past, I've curated a smaller version of this list on my Instagram page. This year, I compiled 45 titles in a 15-page guide for you to discover great titles to add to your TBR. Which, to be honest, was still hard to whittle titles down. They are all books I've read and loved in summers past and a handful of new-release titles I'm looking forward to.
If you aren't already a paid subscriber, you can access the guide in two ways. First, you can sign up for a monthly membership for $6. Second, before May 31, you can sign up for a yearly membership for $40 (then it jumps back up to $60 for the year.) This will give you access to all my backlog and new posts for the following year.
Now, onto summer reading! When we're young, readers fall into two camps: you either love or hate summer reading. You either relish the joy of working through an assigned list and checking out new books at the library each week. Or you dread being told what to read. I was a mix of both, excited by some titles but feeling the burden of reading things I didn't love for other titles.
