Elections, Resistance, and False Flags
Ukraine is not involved in the attack on Transnistria, — Moldavian authorities
“We inform you that the incident in question is an attempt to cause fear and panic in the region. The military equipment in the photo has not been working for several years.”
Let me start with a helicopter destroyed in Transtrinia. Russia claimed the drone came from Odesa. It would be an excellent excuse to go after Moldova. How Russians plan to resupply their isolated garrison is a good question, but I digress.
The point is that we all have been expecting false flags because that’s one way for Vladimir Putin to justify a further crackdown on freedoms and liberties. I use both terms with a sense of irony since they are a distant memory for most Russians.
Elections
Now, let’s look at elections. These are three-day affairs. They took both electronic and physical forms. I will remind you that the result was known even before the first ballot was cast. They decided on the results months ago. So first, let’s look at this noon every time zone protest. This is a summary through MO.
Furor of the “Noon against Putin” campaign. Queues at polling stations around the world turned into anti-war rallies of thousands.
“The action “Noon Against Putin” created an incredible sensation at polling stations abroad and was very impressive in large Russian cities, primarily in Moscow and St. Petersburg and their environs,” this is how journalist Alexander Plyushchev summed up the results of today’s action at polling stations in Russia and at Russian consulates abroad.
🙋 The campaign took place in more than 30 countries around the world , according to MO estimates. In some cities (The Hague, Tel Aviv), queues of people wishing to vote against Putin exceeded 1 km in length. Hundreds and sometimes even thousands of Russians came to the consulates.
🙋 The largest event took place in Berlin — about 10 thousand people gathered. In many countries, people had to stand in line for more than 3 hours, and somewhere (for example, in Vilnius) the lines turned into anti-war rallies. In some cities (Yerevan, Tel Aviv), Putin’s opponents did not disperse until late in the evening.
🙋 Impressive queues also formed in Russian cities. The police resisted them as best they could. At least 47 people in 5 regions were detained.
🙋 Well-known opposition politicians and public figures took part in the action. In Berlin, Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Yulia Navalnaya met at the consulate, in Jerusalem Maxim Katz voted at 12:00, and in Dolgoprudny near Moscow — Boris Nadezhdin .
Now, how do we know there was an effect? Well, Readvodka said this has no effect. From years of watching Russia, we know it’s usually upside down for the propaganda people:
The media campaign of the “liberal opposition” about the protest vote failed — attempts to destabilize the situation did not affect the course of the elections
There is news in the media that the opposition action against the presidential elections in the Russian Federation allegedly led to stunning results. According to opposition Telegram channels, a quarter of a million people took part in it in Moscow alone. In fact, all attempts to destabilize the situation in any way did not affect the course of the elections and did not cause a surge in turnout on Sunday.
The number of voters increased evenly over three days. Today, according to the CEC, the total turnout was 70.81%, including 0.8% within the DEG. On March 15 and 16, the turnout was relatively at the same level, but on the 17th it was more than half as much, 6%. Thus, the liberal opposition’s media campaign about protest voting failed. Still, the statements of propagandists are fake.
