All content remains free without a paywall: reflecting on twelve months writing at Substack, and enabling paid subscriptions
Creed Speech was launched in April 2022. This month I’m turning on paid subscriptions. All content shall remain free without a paywall. Paid subscribers would be doing so out of kindness and of their own volition.
I had been holding out for Substack to give me a crack at the beta model of crypto-based paid subscription models after signing on to their lists; it seems to be taking a while. It would be great to have both fiat currency and crypto based options for readers to show their support.
*Edit: Paid subscriptions are now working properly without error messages. After waiting 7 days with no reply from Substack support, I decided to delete my stripe account and re-do verification steps. I had been made aware of subscribers trying to upgrade to paid and getting an error message. The overwhelming support from subscribers is much appreciated.
Words cannot suffice to express my deepest gratitude towards the readership at this stack.
What started out as a hobby / therapeutic outlet to pour out my emotion and bewilderment at the new (ab)normal, quickly became a little community of like-minded souls.
I have been lifted up more times than ever expected by private messages from subscribers; sharing their plight against this global tyranny, sometimes deeply personal stories, and how they cling to hope and truth during the darkest hours.
Thank you for sharing your struggles and confiding in me.
I have felt touched and elated by both your fiat donations and anonymous crypto donations.
Thank you very much for your incredible generosity!
I have been lucky enough to have had many articles republished at The Daily Bell and Zerohedge, which has helped to gain more exposure.
Lately, I’ve reflected on how I have been overloading the email inboxes of subscribers with too many posts…
It can be difficult to resist sharing the relentless number of significant events we are bombarded with - yet that within itself is part of the formula and relentless distraction model engineered and foisted upon us by the legacy media - backed by the trusted news initiative and all those evil governmental forces to boot.
Ergo, we are in a perpetual state of one orchestrated ‘crisis’ after another.
The real crisis is a population that falls for every crisis. That is the never ending crisis. (I am guilty of falling for them too).
Going forward, I will endeavour to critically examine the root causes of the insanities, absurdities, and atrocities in our dystopian world.
I will better research topics of interest before publishing. I will try to limit the frequency of posts to twice a week. I will also add audio narration to more of my articles, as I know some people prefer to listen to content whilst on the move.
I have some interesting podcasts lined up for Creed Speech, as well as more collaborative discussions with
and Joe Jarvis. In closing, I implore you all to keep a few things at the forefront of your minds, as we continue to endure more tyrannical governance and further descend into idiocracy.
The harder the powers-that-should-not-be push us, the more resiliently we push back.
Exercise civil disobedience.
Reject digital ID and CBDC.
Decentralisation will usurp centralisation.
The parallel economy will flourish.
Humanity can and will rediscover its lost humanity.

Writing is art, and artists must always rely on the generosity of benefactors. I wish I had more to give. Like everyone, I am spread thin, trying to support as many artists as I can, but your insight and appreciation for you readers inspires me to give, even if it is a paltry sum.
Well said Nicholas. Onwards towards a hopefully better future
