Every presidential election is influenced by the ominous warnings of talking heads regarding election consequences.
“If LIBERALS win, government spending will increase along with the national debt! We must get our fiscal house in order!”
“Well, if CONSERVATIVES win, they will cut taxes for the rich and corporations! We know Trickledown Economics never works!”
“If DEMOCRATS win, Healthcare will get nationalized, and the “patient/doctor” relationship ruined forever!”
“Well, if REPUBLICANS win, they will gut Medicaid and other safety nets leaving the poor and suffering without access to healthcare!”
“If the LEFT wins, they will nominate judicial activists to SCOTUS, and we must appoint strict constructionists!”
“Well, if the RIGHT wins, they will appoint judges to SCOTUS that limit progress by refusing to apply the Constitution in a contemporary context!”
Gone are the days of such banter. They are no more…
Left vs. Right
Liberals vs. Conservatives
Democrats vs. Republicans
No, our radicalized opponents HATE AMERICA!!! This is no longer a debate between political persuasions. It has become an existential Armageddon for the American way of life! Declaring war on our enemies requires new battle flags and banners for distinguishing sides.
The defining terms are as follows…
We The People vs. Deep State
Freedom vs. Tyranny
Good vs. Evil
How did it come to this?
In 2008, the formlessness of Obama’s “hope and change” took physical shape as “Workers of the World, Unite!”. As promised, blueprints for a “fundamental transformation of America” were laid out and meticulously implemented. With structures in place, his radical legacy would be cemented with Hillary installed as Obama 3.0.
However, our challenger in the red, white, and blue corner, Donald J. Trump, took the gloves off! He defeated “Stronger Together” and its precursor “Yes, we can” with a rebellious “Hell no, you won’t!” He drew a line in the sand: Make America Great Again or else! D.C. powerbrokers took note and planned accordingly.
A Sun Tzu axiom from The Art of War is “Know thyself, know thy enemy”. During Trump’s first term, we definitely knew who we were, but struggled to fight a faceless enemy. A second term, however, will deliver the final, crushing blow to the Deep State. Now he knows the faces, the names, and where the bodies are buried.
