This week, we examined missed moments because we’re interested in reframing everything — even moments we’ve never had! For many of us, there's a temptation to get stuck in the feeling of “what if I had just done that differently...”
We bring our reframing energy to an assortment of our own missed moments, in addition to ones from previous guests Jessica Hiemstra and A.J. Schneider, and a poem from Colin James.

We have spent the last couple of days at SXSW in Austin, Texas. It is considered a leading conference in learning as it uniquely brings together technology, music, film, culture, and education. Austin is also home of the weird. So all of our favourite things. Learning at any conference comes in different forms, through panels, mentor sessions…and fortune cookies. We were a little unsure of what the takeaway was supposed to be with this one. The emphasis on winning and losing, juxtaposed with the word “may” was a little daunting. But where we did get some clarity in Austin was witnessing the benefits of technology, art, education and culture, coming together. Interdisciplinary divergent viewpoints sharing the same space! Humanity works better when we work together y’all! That’s Austin speak and it’s just so inclusive. Words matter y’all!
A reframing nugget brought to us in this picture of Nat standing with former Raptor Chris Bosh: look up folks!
Metaphorically and literally.
There’s so much to be excited about when you look up from your phone. And in this case look WAY up because Bosh is a very tall human and Nat’s grin suggests that the view from up there is great!
We love hearing from our listeners! Leave us a voice message, write to the show email, or send us a DM on any of our socials.
