Holding Republicans Accountable
PLEASE SHARE THIS EMAIL!!!
It has begun!! We are traveling the four corners of the State of Wisconsin recruiting qualified candidates to run against the RINO’s in the Wisconsin Legislature! We will no longer tolerate ineffective, disrespectful incumbents that blindly follow instructions from the established swamp rats that IS the Wisconsin GOP leadership. We need your help, as we travel, we need gas, food and lodging, and some help with the cost of printed materials. Please consider being a paid sponsor of this Substack. A thirty-dollar donation goes a long way!
Thank you… Now let’s get to it. One of the things that we can provide is plenty of ammunition regarding these insolent incumbent’s voting records. The voting records are atrocious. Instead of providing separate accounts for all 58 or so incumbents unworthy of re-election, I will discuss a bill that was voted on, I’ll discuss why the bill is bad news for Wisconsin and then I’ll show you who voted on it. That way everyone can see who voted for these horrible bills.
First up is what we call the Monday count bill. Last session a provision was added as an amendment at the last second to the whistle blower bill and the story behind the efforts is disheartening to say the least. Note: The Monday Count bill is back by the way, Rep. Ron Tusler; Rep. Dave Maxey, Sen. Rachael Cabral-Guevara are circulating the bill.
I discussed it at length in my Newsletter 12#
On Thursday, February 24, 2022, the whistle blower bill - Senate Bill 946, was taken up by the Wisconsin State Assembly. The Senate passed SB 946 on Tuesday the 22nd. They passed the original version, unamended. (See the photo below). The bill then went to the Assembly where State Representative Kevin Petersen (on behalf of Robin Vos) offered an amendment that included, among other things, a provision that would allow Milwaukee and other cities with central counts (like the corrupt Green Bay regime) to open absentee ballots on the Monday before the election. Yes, you read that correctly, the republicans in the Assembly are that stupid.
A bit of background here is in order. I, as Research Assistant for State Representative Janel Brandtjen, and clerk of the Campaigns and Elections Committee, received the phone calls from Speaker Vos’s office regarding what we call the “Monday count bill”. The speaker’s office, as usual, was looking to “get something done” that they could hang their hat on, so to speak. The calls went something very close to:
Speaker’s office: Hey, Bill did your boss get a chance to look at that Monday Count Bill?
Me: Yes, she did.
Speaker’s office: What did she think?
Me: She thinks it’s stupid.
Speaker’s office: Why?
Me: Because giving the democrats an extra day of cheating is stupid. The left will know exactly how many votes they need to “find just enough votes to deliver the margin needed”.
Speaker’s office: But they won’t be allowed to tally up the votes on Monday. How about if they’re allowed to just open the envelopes?
Me: Are you even listening to yourself? Why would anyone think that Milwaukee would follow the law? Haven’t you guys been paying attention?
Speaker’s office: The entire leadership wants the bill; they’re pushing it hard. Is there any chance of her giving the bill a hearing.
Me: None.
So, since the Monday Count Bill didn’t get a hearing in the Assembly (because Rep. Brandtjen did her job), Vos and his merry band of corrupt legislators decided to circumvent the checks and balances built into our system. They took the whistle blower bill (SB 946, described above) and completely changed the scope of the bill.
Below is a screenshot of the substitute amendment offered by Rep. Kevin Petersen. As you can clearly see, the amendment contains the Monday Count Bill, which as was pointed out on the floor of the Assembly, changed the scope of the bill and should not have been allowed. However, not only was the amendment allowed (because Vos doesn’t mind changing the rules as he goes along) but Petersen clearly lied to the voters of Wisconsin as you will hear for yourself in the 1 minute 41 second clip. My Facebook page contains his entire 3 minute 30 second speech in case anyone thinks that his comments were “taken out of context”. I also have attached a link to the substitute amendment, you can read it for yourself.
See who voted for the Monday Count Bill
Listen to Rep. Petersen lie to the people of Wisconsin of the floor of the Assembly!
Everyone in the Assembly except Allen, Brandtjen, Ramthun and Wichgers voted for the Monday Count Bill!
