π€Intro & Disclaimers
I am not a financial advisor, and nothing I say in this substack is financial advice.
This is all educational content you can use as a starting off point for your own research initiatives. Iβm just another random individual who started a substack βcause I think/hope/knowβ¦ that I have something to share with you allβ. π€·
That said, if youβd like to know a bit about me and are wondering why you should listen to me, read this intro post I wrote π
πLetβs dive in:
This wallet review is a recurring post. The aim is to post an official update every Monday and see how far I can grow this little stash by week 52.
As of October 10th, 23:00 UTC this tiny stash of mine sits at a modest value of $452USD, dubbed week 2 closing balance & week 3 opening balance. (Up $11.00 from last week).
For illustration purposes, Iβve dropped a screen-cap of my wallet, accessed via DeBank.
π£ Weekly Highlights: Credit Suisseβs CDS (Credit Default Swaps) spike drama continued. The Banksβ Credit Default Insurance Nears 2008 Levels. Information about Money laundering claims also surface earlier in the week, of which they were found guilty: Credit Suisse's scandals - spies, lies and money laundering
To be absolutely honest, this week, I sat on my hands and did nothing for the most part cause I think sometimes the best thing to do is not trade.
As of October 10th, 23:00 UTC, my wallet has active interactions with these projects:
ππMycelium (Formerly Tracer),
ππThales (options trading),
ππGMX,
πππ¦Uniswap (OP/PERP Liquidity Pool),
ππAurora Plus (Read up my review on AUROA+),
ππAurigami Finance (Money-Market/Lending-borrowing),
ππTrisolaris (DEX),
ππChain Link,
ππLivepeer,
ππSperax,
ππHop.exchange (WETH/HETH LP) (How to Add Liquidity on HOP),
ππPlutusDAO,
ππVesta,
As I did not do much trading this week, instead of talking about the same positions, Iβm going to ask you to read the previous weekβs update here
And track where those investments stand here.
Instead this week, Iβm going to share three alternative activities I completed this week!
π₯I launched an NFT collection on Quix & It Sold out under 48 hours!
(The NFTs were Free to claim)
This little artwork was fully AI generated, produced with the help of DALL-E (OpenAI)
As a token of my appreciation, this NFT was free to claim and The Weekly S#!t Post readers were the first to know.
Feel free to checkout the collection here:
There will only ever be 50 of these NFTs, and it looks like 33 different wallets own these 50 NFTs now. I promise you these arenβt my fake accounts, you can check em out yourself, by clicking on these NFTs and checking owned by:
As you can see, NFT #14 (screencap above) is owned by 202110.eth, so letβs just drop that address on zapper.fi and see who they are and what their wallet looks like.
πΈWill I make any money if these NFTs take off? Or did I waste an opportunity by giving them away for free.
Well, to be absolutely honest, the aim was to just reward my community with something cool. Iβve be learning to use DALL.E - OpenAI and iβve been itching to release something. I figured this was the most productive use of my OpenAI credits!
Thereβs a good chance I wonβt make any money out of this, in-fact, Iβve actually spent Nine dollars ($9) deploying the contract so Iβm actually net negative.
However, If the universe decides to bless me with random luck and these NFTs become famous; each time they are traded/sold, I get 2% royalty feesπ
I doubt thatβll ever happen but, it was a cool learning experience and the process was seamless and only took a few minutes!
All I really had to do was spend Nine Dollars ($9) and mint my artwork. And just like that, I have access to lifelong royalties, if my artwork βtakes-offβ
π₯I Started Optimism Quests!
A total of 18 projects are leveraging the Galxe infrastructure and running this campaign. The large amount of project participation gives users an opportunity to accrue a multitude of NFTs as they explore the OP ecosystem.
Once you connect your wallet to the dashboard youβll be able to see you progress just like mine (shown in the screenshot below).
So far Iβve managed to completed only the Uniswap NFT Quest!
And I intend to complete all 18, letβs see how many I can accumulate. Thereβs a good chance these will lead to some sort of an airdrop in the future so it pays to do due diligence, participate and collect.
If you donβt know what i mean by βthis could lead to an airdropβ, checkout this S#!t Post I wrote on the possibility of an Arbitrum Airdrop and why i think this is similar.
π₯I Placed an On-Chain Bet, I Won the Bet! But Still Lost Money! β οΈ
Iβd like to introduce you guys to Exotic Markets!
Exotic Markets was spun-off from Thales' unique Parimutuel Market smart contracts by community members that wanted the ability to create their own markets, limited only by their imagination.
π€What are some examples of an exotic market?
An exotic market can be created around any market question and categorized by a number of tags, including the following: Sports, Political-Elections, Crypto, E-Sports, Pop-culture, Macro-Economics, Finance and Web3, with more on the way.
π²What was the bet?
Who will be the 2022 Formula 1 World Champion ποΈ
My bet was on Max Verstappen, and Max clinched the world champion title for the second time at Suzuka.
As you can see, my bid is highlighted and my total bid amount was Ten Dollars ($10), but, my winnings are Nine Dollars and Eighty Three Cents ($9.83).
How did I win the bet and still manage to loose money?
Well, itβs actually quite simple, thereβs only Twenty dollars ($20) betting against $1552. Thereβs no spread and the vast majority of participants bet on Max as heβs been quite dominant this season.
So long story short, there just wasnβt enough money to go around for every participant and we have to also pay the protocol to open the bidding and resolve a bet!
Safe to say, once the bet was settled, I won but, lost 17 cents. Which is still better than losing all my money. If nothing this was a great learning opp.
As mentioned earlier, this was one of many interesting Exotic Markets, thereβs many more to explore! and I urge you to visit exoticmarkets.xyz and find out what people are betting on.
πͺ€ Outro
Of course, it goes without saying but bears repeating that nothing I say or share here is financial advice. Iβm just another random individual starting a substack βcause I think I have something to share with you allβ. π€·
Also, like many individuals who are doing this for a living I also am a humble penniless fool. So, if you are a kind, bountiful, and gifted individual who has benefited from this S#!t Postery and wish to buy this S#!t Poster of yours a coffee, Some drip money would definitely be appreciated and will help to keep my fingers going on this mechanical keyboard of mine.

If you are interested in tracking my wallet and seeing what Iβm doing and how I am navigating in this βWeb3 Worldβ feel free to follow me on debank.com.
Itβs the best portfolio tracker (in addition to Zapper & Zerion) to track crypto portfolios. Think of it like a summary of your holdings and investments.
Every Monday, Iβll do an update on my βHoldingsβ documenting my decision making and rationale behind the projects that are in my wallet so be sure to come back next Monday!
