Status Coup CONFRONTS Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine in East Palestine: "I Didn't Say That" (He Did)
Our Louis DeAngelis questions DeWine on why he claimed he didn't call Pres. Biden back: "I have not called him back after that conversation. I will not hesitate to do that if we're seeing a problem"
Status Coup's Louis DeAngelis confronted Ohio Governor Mike DeWine in an East Palestine Ohio neighborhood on Tuesday close to the train tracks where Norfolk Southern's train exploded two weeks ago. The governor made a discreet visit to residents in East Palestine after meeting with the EPA chief—and posing for a photo-op with the EPA chief next to a resident’s sink in which they drank a glass of city water to portray it as safe.
The only way we found out he was there was because we received a call from a resident who lives on the block where it all happened.
"I didn't say that,” DeWine denied to Louis when he challenged the Governor on his original statement to the press that he had not called President Biden back after Biden offered “anything you need” in regards to the train explosion.
But the Governor did indeed say that: "The president called me and said 'anything you need' and I have not called him back after that conversation. I will not hesitate to do that if we're seeing a problem or anything but I'm not seeing it."

We’ll be ON-THE-GROUND ALL WEEK interviewing residents, visiting town halls, and talking to scientists. The people of East Palestine deserve to be HEARD. Most importantly, the truth about their growing list of health symptoms deserves to get out. Last night, Louis spoke with sick, struggling residents in front of their homes that were close to where the train exploded.
