Dear Reader,
I want to thank you for making 2022 such an amazing year. Your comments have brought me incalculable enjoyment. I had no idea it would be this much fun running a newsletter for writers and readers of fiction, otherwise I would’ve started sooner.
During 2022, we had an ongoing discount of 50% off the paid subscription service. That ends tonight. I don’t have plans to bring this offer back, so hopefully you secure your subscription price for the entire next year by upgrading today.
I’m sending out a reminder on the off chance you were considering supporting us and gaining some neat perks in the process. If that’s the case, we’d be over the moon! Here is a list of the plans we’re currently offering subscribers:
Free Subscribers | Passengers
One monthly newsletter, weekly curated fiction (Saturdays), quarterly writing prompts, monthly discussion threads, writer interviews, book reviews and more!
Paid Subscribers | XPress
As a reader, you get access to our private Discord, early, or exclusive, access to our SRA Podcast episodes, one monthly paid newsletter, and any paid archived posts.
As a writer, you can submit your work directly to The Storyletter for potential paid publication. We are currently paying 1 cent per word, up to 6,000 words, or a flat rate of $10 for stories/poems under 1,000 words. You’re also eligible for entry in our annual S6 writing contest for cash prizes. Stories purchased by The Storyletter, and winners of the S6 Contest, are eligible for publication in our anthology series.
Founding Members | First Class
I know this tier may seem steep at $200, but as we continue to enhance our services, the benefits also improve. With this epic tier, you will receive basic editorial feedback from yours truly (until we can afford to hire a professional editor), basic marketing and cover design services, one ISBN for self-publication, and a digital/physical copy of our anthologies as they release.
Thank you!
Even if you don’t upgrade, I want to thank you for sticking around this long and being willing to check out The Storyletter in the first place. We’re nothing without your support, your voices, your participation, and—best of all—your stories.
Here’s to another great year of fiction. Happy New Year! ~ WM
