Have the last 20 years been a prelude to the collapse of the American Empire? It sure seems to be that way. On August 15, 2021, the Taliban seized control of the presidential palace in Kabul, thus now having power over Afghanistan. This happened two weeks before the August 31st deadline to pull all combat forces from Afghanistan. The threat of the Taliban taking over Afghanistan provoked Biden to deploy 3,000 more troops into Afghanistan to help with evacuating the US Embassy. This could potentially put many American soldiers and Afghan civilians at risk. This is highlighted by the fact that White House national security advisor Jake Sullivan refused to guarantee that all Americans who wish to leave Afghanistan would by the August 31st deadline. This becomes even more of a slap in the face to American troops and citizens since the US is preparing to take in potentially anywhere from 22,000 to 30,000 Afghan refugees. When it comes to the evacuation of people from Afghanistan in general, Americans are not even prioritized by their government. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby stated “Once we get more airlift out of Kabul, we’re going to put as many people on those planes as we can. There will be a mix, not just American citizens, but perhaps some Afghan SIV applicants as well…We’re going to focus on getting people out of the country, then sorting it out at the next stop. It’s not going to be just Americans first, then SIV applicants. We’re going to focus on getting as many folks out as we can."
This is a fitting beginning to what could legitimately be the end of the American Empire. We invaded the third world, then invited the third world, and now we are becoming a third world nation. This is evidenced by what America has turned into since the events of 9/11 almost 20 years ago. The behavior and culture of American society since that day reflect a cosmopolitan nation with no morals. The further we go down that road, the more likely we are to collapse from within. The potential collapse has only been induced by the American Empire’s faulty and failing domestic policies as well as their general foreign policy.
English historian Edward Gibbon recognized 5 reasons for the collapse of the Roman Empire in his monumental work The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. Those 5 reasons are as follows:
The increase in divorce.
The increase in taxation.
The drive for pleasure (in this case it was sports becoming more brutal in the Roman Empire. While sports today are full of brutality and people treating sports fandom like religion is a problem, our modern society and technology have given people way more opportunities to participate in soul-draining behavior.)
The people lost their faith.
The military was being built up and sent out to fight what the Empire considered foreign enemies, while the real enemy lay within the Empire itself.
Let us see how the American Empire has been doing in some of these departments.
The Pew Research Center editorial manager Michael Lipka reported these statistics concerning atheism in an article in 2019: 4% of American adults say they are atheists while an additional 5% say they are agnostic. While these numbers are not terrible, this one is: “Most Americans (56%) say it is not necessary to believe in God to be moral”. This means the institution of religion is being taken less seriously in the US. If this keeps going on people will be less likely to adopt a religious moral code and thus will fall victim to atomized individualism, feeling no connection to anything real outside of themselves and their material items. This will ultimately mean that people will feel no reason to uphold civilization because societal ties, traditions, and institutions will decay.
This could explain why in 2020 US marriage rates hit a new recorded low. At least divorce rates are falling too. However, if the marriage rates do not see an increase as younger generations grow up, then the divorce rates really will not matter. Here are the averages per age group of women who gave birth from 2017-2019: 4.8% were to women under the age of 20, 48.2% were to women ages 20-29, 43.6% were to women ages 30-39, and 3.3% were to women ages 40 and older. If the majority of these mothers under 29 are not married that means the younger generations will not reap the benefits of the family unit, of which there are many. One of the very key components needed for a civilization to prosper is the family unit. Strong, healthy families create strong and healthy-minded individuals. These individuals then begin to cooperate in a society, which helps keep civilization intact. If the family unit goes away, these sort of individuals will go away. Therefore cooperation will decrease, society will decay through coercion and division, and thus civilization will fall.
Taking a look at the government’s own hand in this collapse, since 9/11 the American government has put forward many efforts to make the American people complacent and compliant. These efforts have included legislation such as the Patriot Act, an unconstitutional act that was originally advertised as a counter-terrorism measure necessary in the aftermath of 9/11. This piece of legislation would enable the government to spy on its citizens, as well as give them more legal tools to use against citizens. As of now, the Patriot Act is expired since Donald Trump opposed and threatened to veto the renewal of the bill. Do not be surprised however if President Biden, who has bragged about being the architect of the Patriot Act, tries to push forward new and even more oppressive “counter-terrorism” legislation.
9/11 also allowed the US government to launch the War on Terror, an international military campaign that has increased US imperialism around the world while being as successful and tyrannical as the War on Drugs. It has created legislation that hampers the freedoms of American citizens, as well as plunders the wealth of the citizenry, and creates foreign boogeymen to keep citizens from recognizing the real enemy, their government. This all further proves that war is the health of the state. Since the events of January 6th, it seems clear that the War on Terror is coming home under the Biden Administration. January 6th is the new 9/11 in the eyes of the opportunistic and terroristic American government. Capitol protestors are now being compared to the Taliban by the mainstream media, and the feds taking action against protestors who did not even storm the Capitol building (which means the Government sees peaceful protest or even praying when utilized by right-wingers as illegal). This means the police state is being ramped up even more in this time of CoronaVirus hysteria and political polarization. Hell, could the troops coming home mean Biden needs them to round up the unvaccinated?
After the passage of the 1913 Federal Reserve act, Congressman Charles Lindbergh would make this succinct statement: “The new law will create inflation whenever the trusts want inflation. From now on depressions will be scientifically created.” Over the last 20 years, there have been two huge economic downturns that were scientifically created by those within the Federal Reserve. The first being the 2008 financial crisis which many accurately predicted, including Dr. Ron Paul (it is also worth mentioning that he accurately predicted what would happen in Afghanistan.) What no one could predict however was the economic vampire that has been the lockdowns spurred on by CoronaVirus hysteria. It can be seen through unemployment rates that states who got rid of the lockdowns early or never imposed them, as in the case of South Dakota, are doing way better economically than states that have full-on embraced these tyrannical lockdowns.
Ryan McMaken writes: “The states with the worst unemployment numbers (as of May 2021) are Hawaii (8.1), New Mexico (8.0), California (7.9), and New York (7.8). Once again, these are some of the states with the most strict covid regulations and lockdowns. Meanwhile, Utah (2.7) and South Dakota (2.8) are among the states with the lowest unemployment rates. Georgia’s unemployment rate of 4.1 percent was barely more than half of California’s rate of 7.9 percent. Florida’s unemployment rate for the same period was 4.9 percent.”
The loss of jobs for many Americans was created through lockdowns which caused businesses to have to downsize on labor or close for good. What was scientifically created through the manipulation of our money supply by the hands of the Federal Reserve is the rampant inflation America currently faces. Inflation hurts everyone, whether you’re employed or not, whether you live in an opened-up state or not. Writes Matt Walsh: From the start of Donald Trump’s presidency to the Joe Biden presidency, the M2 money supply — the standard measurement of money and deposits in circulation — has increased 47%, from $13.36 trillion to $19.67 trillion. Since 2010, the increase has been 132%.
It’s seemingly incomprehensible just to think of all of the stacks of trillions of dollars that were printed to keep up with the spending:
- $839 billion in the 2009 Obama stimulus.
- $900 billion in the first COVID relief package in 2020.
-$1.9 trillion in the Biden COVID package this month.
- Not to mention, the $6 trillion in federal deficits the past five years.
To be sure, it is difficult to grasp how all those billions and trillions trickle down to you and affect your day-to-day life. But here, perhaps, is an explicit way to frame the printing of all this money: Surely, you have noticed how that $100 in the grocery store checkout line is purchasing less and less. And that is it. That is the hidden, insidious tax of inflation. It strikes in small amounts, like a constant drip, gradually reducing everyone’s purchasing power, with consumers rarely grasping the seriousness of the tragedy. This is the vicious work of Washington politicians.” With this much money being poured into our economy along with little production of goods and services, an economic reckoning may be brought upon on many citizens who have already suffered so much both emotionally and financially since this CoronaVirus hysteria began.
Economic woes on top of being the world’s police means that American citizens are plundered plenty. “Americans will shell out an average of $525,037 each in taxes throughout the course of their lives.”, writes Jessica Menton. Here’s how that $525,037 is divided:
-Sales tax: $27,761, or 5.3%
-Auto tax: $29,521, or 5.6%
-Property tax: $128,582, or 24.5%
-Income tax: $339,173 or 64.6%
Inflation is already taking away the purchasing power in our dollars, taxes are just eating up whatever wealth we have left. How are Americans expected to prosper when their money can barely buy anything, and they have very little money as well?
If American morale was not low enough already, the fact that many citizens are being forced to be injected with the CoronaVirus vaccine should sure help lower it more. This is happening because some states are looking into the use of and or utilizing vaccine passports, and also cities mandating the vaccines for their workers, and some even going as far as mandating them for citizens who wish to participate in their economies. What really illustrates the cognitive dissonance surrounding America today is the fact those who are vaccinated are still getting sick with the virus, and some of them are even dying. What is even more boggling is the fact that this vaccine is causing injuries and deaths for many and yet no one seems to notice or care: “Data released Aug. 13 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) showed that between Dec. 14, 2020, and Aug. 6, 2021, a total of 571,831 total adverse events were reported to VAERS, including 12,791 deaths — an increase of 425 over the previous week. There were 77,490 reports of serious injuries, including deaths, during the same time period — up 7,385 compared with the previous week.”
It gets worse. The US government has made it clear that they favor some citizens over others and in this case they favor the vaccinated over the unvaccinated. “Nursing homes that do not enforce the mandate on 1.3 million employees could lose their Medicare and Medicaid funds, which is their lifeblood.” writes Al Tompkins. Imagine your elderly loved ones suffering and perhaps dying due to their nursing home depending on inadequate funding from the feds, and their response is “well sorry, they had a choice. They should have been forced.”. At least, that’s what the feds would say if they were honest, which they never are. One potential silver lining of this is that this should give people more reason to take the traditional route and keep their loved ones home and close, and take care of them themselves.
If all this info available here does not make you, the reader, realize that the American Empire is the real enemy and is also crumbling both from within and on the outside, then there is probably no hope that you will ever wake up out of this nightmare. If you can recognize the crumbling of this empire, you may feel pessimistic about the future. Fear not.
Here are some quick numbers concerning mandates and lockdowns amongst states in the US: 40 states are without mask mandates for anyone, regardless of vaccination. 19 states have banned mask mandates and vaccine passports. This shows that many states are not enforcing the fed’s wishes and that is good. More states going their own way gives the potential for some secession movements to rise.
What about private businesses enforcing their employees or customers to wear masks or be vaccinated? Many businesses are taking this route, siding with the status quo and thus the state. While they have their right to do this, if we care about our liberty this is what we must do: we as customers should refuse to give these businesses our money. Employees of these businesses should do their best to find employment somewhere. What everyone should ultimately do however is to become as self-sufficient as possible in as many areas of our lives as we can. Just because the free market is the best form of an economy does not mean private businesses are all that great. What is great is human beings taking their lives into their own hands and making things happen for themselves.
When it does come to participating in the economy, however, there are some good options when it comes to what we can use as currencies. Cryptocurrencies are available to us, and these are great for keeping your financial transactions hidden from the feds and also hold up well against inflation of the US dollar. Although right now cryptocurrencies are under tight watch in Washington. For instance, they expect you to pay taxes on your purchases of cryptocurrencies and the transactions you use them for. The Federal Reserve and the US Treasury have made calls for tighter regulations on cryptocurrencies. The possible threat of FedCoin, a cryptocurrency controlled by the Federal Reserve and has been buzzed about in Congress, should also be in every American’s mind.
Gold and silver hold up great against the inflation of the US dollar and always holds a high value that keeps rising as the value of the dollar falls. While gold and silver can be taxed like cryptocurrencies, it would be much easier to acquire these metals with cash, physically, under the nose of the feds, than it would be to acquire cryptocurrencies with US dollars on the internet. Gold can be converted to cash, or more states and their localities can legalize the use of the Goldback. “Considered the first local, voluntary currency to be made of spendable, beautiful, physical gold...Goldbacks as a form of voluntary local currency were made possible by the Utah Legal Tender Act of 2011 and other, similar legislation from other states. Certain businesses voluntarily accept Goldbacks in the states of Nevada, Utah, and New Hampshire.”, writes Ray James. If the Goldback can be legalized by more states and adopted by localities with individuals willing to use them, it could open up the door for even more currencies to be used. This will allow currencies to compete against each other, and the people will ultimately decide what money works for them the best. This will help bring down the state’s fiat money monopoly and allow for people to have better purchasing power in the money they choose to utilize.
Of course, the government could try to confiscate gold and silver as they did with gold in 1934. Well if it is easy to acquire gold under the feds, it should be easy to hide it too as long as you do not keep it in a bank. However, this gives us a reason to arm ourselves, of which there are many. After all, “the Second Amendment was a key component in efforts by anti-militarists to prevent just the sort of permanent military establishment the US taxpayer now so generously funds.”, writes Ryan McMaken. With as many reasons there are to own a gun, there are many more reasons to be ready to protect yourself from thugs, especially the ones that carry a badge and gun for the feds.
It would be beneficial to learn basic survival and self-defense skill in the case of the fall of the Empire. No telling how things could fold out. But does the end of the American Empire mean the end of civilization? Only if we let it. The problem that allowed the US government into an empire was centralization. This has had consequences for our civilization, yes, but in the aftermath of the American Empire’s collapse can come a decentralized empire. It can look a lot like America looks today. Only, US states that could withstand the fall of the US Federal government would be the most powerful governments within America as it is today. Then would follow major cities, counties, and towns that could be able to make things happen and work for themselves. As for the areas that do fall along with the Federal government in the case of this fall, this would be good land for people to homestead and be able to create their own, separate societies with.
In order for small societies, and thus a civilization as a whole, to survive and prosper, however, we must make a change to our culture as a whole. While individualism as a philosophy and within a person’s spirit is a beautiful thing, too much of anything can have very negative effects. One thing people tend to have tunnel vision with is their general view on the relationship between civilization and culture, and the importance of that relationship. The “live and let live” crowd probably does not think much about either of those entities. Most who do are either apathetic about it or want to further the demise of them for selfish and egalitarian reasons. Both of these attitudes will set in motion horrible implications for individual liberty.
Let us reflect on American culture post-60’s, a culture that full-on embraced hyper individuality without regard to personal responsibility and society brought on endemics in America such as AIDS, rampant drug use, and youthful promiscuity, as well as created pandemics such as abortion and suicide. In turn, this created a civilization full of emasculated men, defeminized women, and people so confused they are tricked into believing they do not know what they are. It also created a political climate that has gradually opposed individualism more and more while making collectivism and progressivism the new policy trends that Washington puts forth. What caused this to happen to American society was the meaninglessness that comes along with this kind of culture that sees no value in seeing anything as sacred and wishes to do away with the traditions our civilization was built upon.
To this most apathetic Americans would say that victims of these issues are individuals who made their choice. While that is true, where is the humanity there? Is it not the culture which they so carelessly let unfold, in many cases even encouraged, that led these victims to their tragic places in life? Anyone who understands humans and how they affect each other in the grand scheme of society and life would answer yes, and they would be right. The scarier thing about this is that culture carries on until disrupted. Generations upon generations, like dominoes, will fall further and further into the evil arms of hyper degeneracy. Think about how this will affect the outcomes of so many individuals, who because of a world that has gone mad may never get to embrace nor even understand their liberty and what it means for them. They will only fall down the collectivist chute of conformity and thus the only true diversity that matters, that of the mind and spirit, will be lost.
We must return to living traditional lifestyles while adopting traditional principles in order to make civilization grow and prosper. We must return to the Church as well as the family. “Keeping it in the bedroom” is the attitude about sex we must ostracize degenerate individuals into. In society, sex must be treated as something private, and talked about as sacred, in order for civilization to be healthy and strong, allowing for it to last longer while maintaining itself. Being responsible for your own choices must be expected out of people if we are going to allow them to live as they choose. If we only incentivize and enable people like the government does when they claim to be helping them in their dire situations, these problems and the people who have them will only multiply as they have under the American Empire. In general, society should have the sort of attitude that will keep these people with degenerate vices and behaviors behind closed doors.
Individualism is a great thing, but only if people have a meaningful identity, rooted in blood and soil, rather than one created by the status quo supported by the state. A return to the Lord, to the land, and to the family will help create that meaningful identity.
Anyone worth their salt that wants to see liberty prevail over tyranny in their lifetimes and for future generations, will do whatever they can to both protect and preserve a healthy culture and civilization that will influence an individual’s life and their choices. We need those people now more than ever.
If you care about liberty and civilization, now is the time to do everything you can to get out from under the foot of big government. If you care about liberty and civilization, now is the time to put your past behind you and use your mind to clear your eyes so you can see what is going on around you. If you care about liberty and civilization, now is the time to stand by your principles and take your life into your hands and out of the hands of the evil American Empire. For if this Empire falls, let us not!
