Finished Projects:
- over at The Giggler just posted the final chapter in her zany spy adventure comedy novel called Over The Top Secret.
- has just finished rolling out the sixth issue of the sprawling old-school sci-fi magazine 365 Infantry with the headlining drama The Iscariot Complex. Readers can learn all about the latest stories in The #6 Special, a handy guide to the new issue.
- has concluded his serial fantasy novella, A Broken Woman’s True Desire.
New Projects:
- has just started his first solo fiction venture here on Substack called The Story Genie. Follow along for original speculative fiction and glimpses into the creative process!
- at Theories of Haunting will be running a collaboration for the month of October with and , featuring spooky flash fiction just in time for Halloween.
- has just started a new sci-fi dystopian project called Contract Marriage, which examines sex, marriage, and commitment through a science fiction lens. You can read the introduction here.
- has shared the first installment of The Dawn Patrol, a serial in his Short Stories After 8. This time, with a twist: Ben reads the story aloud on video, along with the printed tale!
- is switching up her main newsletter, The Matterhorn, with a new serialized novel called A Hong Kong Story, starting in October. There will also be an accompanying podcast about the layers of stories and truth in fiction.
- has just started the third book of the Baron Britpop Blastfurnace series, called The Continuing Unexpected Adventures of Captain Peanut Butter, a new adventure set in the late 18th Century featuring action, adventure, romance, danger, and friendship. The entire series is free to read!
- is starting a new side-project today (which is also his birthday - Happy Birthday, Stephen!), called BLINK - An Oral History of the Harvest asking, “What if the Rapture happened in reverse?”
- is launching a new project to promote his space opera novel, Inquisitor’s Promise, including a series of background and lore content. Read the first installment here!
- has started a new fantasy project: The Reve’s Tale.
- will be kicking off his second serial novel starting Tuesday, September 19th, called Harmony House.

I love how much awesome fiction there is on Substack. I keep finding more and more! Thanks for giving me a shoutout. Although, I should note I am a 24/7/365 spooky flash fiction person. Halloween should be a year-long celebration! LOL 😉
