All of yourself is anti-social
Just your best self is exhausting
Full attention helps: intellectual, emotional, physical
Don’t leave individuality at the door
Not everyone will share everything – some of us don’t want to
Everyone will be a dick at some point
No one has the right to be a dick
Some thoughts I explore with leaders when we get curious about how they show up at work. And what they expect of their teams. Because the advice to bring your whole self to work is messier than it sounds. The backlash isn’t entirely helpful either. How to navigate these contradictions? Perhaps in the form of a malleable, out loud thinking, mini manifesto? (Because Do Manifesto. And because why not?)
