My Children’s Symphony
The voices of the morning call through the trees,
dancing and lilting,
their songs soar with the breeze.
Their music rises with the sun,
a welcome,
an enthusiastic prelude of what’s to come.
Their melody introduces a rollicking dance,
brisk and lively,
warning of mischief at hand.
Its energy spent, a midday calm creeps in;
It whispers and floats,
its breath on the leaves,
promises of rest, relaxation, and ease.
As the shadows progress,
each movement does too,
they ebb and flow as crescendos often do.
Day and night their movements repeat,
a symphony of life,
a masterpiece complete.
