Last week, I wrote about the mental and emotional preparations for a threesome, and it’s important that you explore those fully before taking the leap. A drunken fumble with friends doesn’t really do justice to the potential of a threesome, and it can leave emotional damage if people don’t feel properly cared for. Equally, a planned encounter with strangers can be harmful if expectations haven’t been set in advance.
If you’re single, it’s important to be clear why you want a threesome and what your role is. Are you a unicorn for a couple? Are you an equal third going into a threesome with two other singles?
If you’re part of a couple, be sure your relationship can withstand the physical and emotional strains that might be involved in a threesome and understand what you want out of it.
