Why did I start The Weekly? I've wanted a creative side project for many (many) years. I've come up with so many possibilities - blogs, consumer products, you name it. But nothing ever felt quite "right". Over time I started to narrow in on what I enjoy and what makes me feel most creative. I've always loved finding and sharing things - a great pair of jeans, a new go-to recipe, the perfect gift. I also love seeing what other people love! At the same time, I don't always have time (work, baby, allll the things) to sift through what feels like the endless amount of content out there. I'm sure you can relate. My dream scenario was to have a simple list of interesting, inspiring, and timely content magically show up in my inbox - and I wanted to be able to read it in less than 5 minutes. Hence, the idea of The Weekly was born. It's always a little scary putting a new idea out there - and part of me still can't believe I'm openly sharing it. I truly enjoy putting these lists together every week and I hope you enjoy them too. Thank you for being here!
In other news, here's what caught my eye this week:
Alison Roman's slow and simple way to cook salmon (or any fatty fish).
We just got these wine stoppers and they're great.
How to find your personal style using the 3 Word Method.
I love any story that centers around food (Julia Child's My Life in France is an all-time favorite!) so I was excited to see Eater's Best Food Books to Read This Fall.
Always a sucker for a good gallery wall.
These outdoor Ugg slippers are still on my mind after I first saw them last year. I like the Burnt Olive colorway.
Have you watched The Super Models yet? I just started it this week.
Saved this sweet little batter bowl in Morning Glory Blue.
After a difficult week, finding a little light in this new-to-me Instagram account.
If you're enjoying The Weekly, please consider sharing it with others!
