A Parents Guide to the C.A.O. and its alternatives
Is your child leaving school soon? would you like to know more about the options open to school leavers?
Fiona Murphy, Guidance Counsellor with Longford & Westmeath Education and Training Board will be hosting an information session on the alternatives to the CAO process. This information session is aimed at parents.
Fiona will cover the topic of the CAO process - A Parent's Guide and will also take a look at what else a school leaver can do such as PLC, traineeships, apprenticeships, college in Europe. There will also be time at the end for any questions and answers you may have.
Kilbeggan during the 1798 Rebellion
The Irish Rebellion of 1798 was a popular insurrection against the British Crown in Ireland. In this talk Manus will take a look at what happened in Kilbeggan during the 1798 rebellion. All welcome.
Presentation on Practical ways to reduce the risk of Stroke
Join us for a very informative talk from HSE Community Dietician, Cara Cunningham on practical ways to reduce the risk of stroke.
This talk will cover a variety of topics including cholesterol, risk factors, diabetes, blood pressure, food and tips for a cardio protective diet.
