BREAKING: Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh Has Been Killed In Tehran

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh has been killed in Iran, Islamic Republic of Iran state media reported early this morning in Tehran.

Haniyeh was visiting Tehran to meet with the Supreme Leader and attend the swearing-in of the new president.

This is not a joke.

Hamas communications bureau also confirmed that Haniyeh was killed in Tehran and issued a statement saying:

"Hamas announces with sorrow to the Palestinian people and the Arab nation that leader Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas' political bureau, was killed in an Israeli attack on his location in Tehran, after attending the ceremony of the new Iranian president."

Haniyeh could be spotted earlier today embracing Masoud Pezeshkian, the new President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at his swearing-in.
