🟨 UPS: What's on your Christmas Wishlist this Year?
This year's secret santa might just be UPS 🎄🎁
Hey there!
Every other Wednesday, I share a Marketing Campaign example to help you get fresh and actionable ideas to sell more and grow your business.
Christmas is not just another day on the calendar; it’s a moment when the air is filled with hope and the universe conspires to make dreams come true.
United Parcel Service (UPS), the multinational package delivery and supply chain management company filled people’s hearts with joy by making their wishes come true.
The #WishesDelivered campaign was created by UPS, it allows people to post and comment their Christmas wishes with the hashtag. Then UPS selects some lucky customers and takes the responsibility of fulfilling them.

#WishesDelivered is an example of a social media marketing campaign. For each wish shared on social media using the hashtag, UPS donated $1 to charity, that’s up to $100,000.
🍉 Action Points
Brand alignment - UPS aligns itself with the positive values associated with Christmas – generosity, kindness, and the joy of giving. This strengthens the emotional connection between the brand and its customers.
Engagement through social media - The #WishesDelivered campaign is a strategic move by UPS to engage with its audience on social media. By encouraging people to share their Christmas wishes using the hashtag, UPS improves its online presence and connects with customers in a festive context.
Charity support - For every wish shared with the hashtag, UPS commits to donating $1 to charity, up to a maximum of $100,000. This adds a philanthropic angle to the campaign and also encourages social media users to contribute to a cause by simply participating.
P.S. Thanks to everyone who shares Yellow Chili with their network. Please share this marketing campaign idea with a friend who would like it.
