October 2024, two months ago. Seemed at the time that this image was apocryphal, not foreboding as maybe it was intended. I imagine this is just before sunrise … and as daylight breaks and the city wakes, there is a sense of excitement and expectation. The circus is in town. One that will change people's lives forever and mostly for better. We live in hope.

Big day in USA tomorrow - November 5th.

In England it is known as Guy Fawkes Night / Bonfire Night.

As kids we built and burnt bonfires with a Guy on top. It was a fun time as we could buy and let off fireworks. We sort of understood the history, partly because of the rhyme below.
